PartySafe's Scope-of-Practice

The Scope-of-Practice (SOP) for PartySafe Medics LLC is tailored to meeting these primary objectives:

• Keeping all partygoers alive

• Keeping all partygoers safe

• Keeping all partygoers out of the hospital

• Providing harm reduction-focused services based on the latest advances in drug use safety, health, and cultural humility. 

• Adhering to New York State’s Basic Life Support and Treatment Protocols

PartySafe Medics builds its SOP out of a large variety of sources, including New York State’s Basic Life Support and Treatment Protocols, DanceSafe, RAINN, Bristol Drug Project, Pocket Emergency Medicine, Crisis Prevention Institute, TripSit, The Loop, Extinction Rebellion, Neighborhood Anarchists, Erowid, and several scientific journal publications. Instructions that go beyond NYS’s SOP include those for medical emergencies including behavioral crises, sexual assault, and drug-related medical episodes.
